Description

Every Shabbat we recite and sing the powerful prayer Ana Bekoach. The prayer is believed to have been written by Rabbi Nehunya ben haKanah, who was known for his modest and forgiving nature and his depth of knowledge of Jewish law and mysticism.

This deeply meaningful prayer opens with the refrain, “Please by the great power of your right hand, O set the captive free.” Jewish mystics propose that one should recite this prayer whenever a person feels stuck and needs to metaphorically break free.

This pendant is fashioned in silver with a turquoise stone, features the opening line of the Ana Bekoach prayer written in Hebrew and is a wonderful touchstone to keep one connected to the divine and as a beautiful reminder that anytime we feel stuck, we need only to turn to our creator.
