The Pride of a Nation

The Western Wall, known as the Kotel, is the last remaining wall from the Holy Jewish Temple, following the sacking of Jerusalem by the Romans. At various times during history, Jews were barred from visiting and praying at this holy site.

In 1967, following the Six-Day War, the city of Jerusalem was once again united and we were able to, once again, pray at this holy site.

Until today, in the center of the Western Wall complex, an Israeli flag flies proudly; the pride of our nation.
