An Army Like No Other. At the Western Wall

The Western Wall, known as the Kotel, is the last remaining wall from the Holy Jewish Temple, following the sacking of Jerusalem by the Romans. At various times during history, Jews were barred from visiting and praying at this holy site.

In 1967, following the Six-Day War, the city of Jerusalem was once again united and we were able to, once again, pray at our holy site.

During the year many of the IDF companies hold their swearing-in ceremonies at the Western Wall, acknowledging where our protection really comes from.
